We knew we were in for a tough game with South sitting top of the league undefeated.
We were slow out of the blocks which was disappointing and saw us trail 2-0. You simply can’t start slow against anyone in the NPL especially the current table toppers.
However, we found our feet and belief for 35 minutes and we played our hearts out for the remaining 60 minutes. We had numerous chances and the majority of the play until the end. Our start wasn’t up to scratch and we paid the price at the end of the day.
We will dust ourselves off and do better on Friday.
