Green Gully is pleased to announce the appointment of Andreas Yena as the club’s U23 Head Coach for the 2026 NPL Victoria season.
Andreas joins Gully after a strong 2025 campaign with Avondale FC, where he guided their U23 side to a fourth-place finish.
His track record for developing players, setting high standards, and building competitive teams has earned him recognition across the NPL system.
His coaching résumé spans more than a decade, with roles at Box Hill, Werribee City, Brunswick City, and Avondale. Across 2023 and 2024 he held key responsibilities at Brunswick City, serving as both U23 Coach and Technical Director, while working closely with junior and senior NPL squads during his time at the club.
Before returning to Melbourne, Andreas spent time in England observing training environments at Charlton, Reading, Fulham, and AFC Wimbledon, adding valuable insight into elite youth development.
Green Gully welcomes Andreas to the club and looks forward to the impact he will make on our next generation of senior footballers.
