On Saturday our Under 20’s will play their first home game for 2020 when they face Hume City FC.
In last week’s match-up Green Gully were put to the test.
St Albans pushed the line with their pressure, as a result receiving five yellow cards.
Despite the conditions, our Under 20’s played well to secure a 2-2 result on the road.
Goran Slijivic made no mistake, scoring the first and last goal to keep his team out of a loss.
This week we look forward to Saturday where we get a chance to prove our worth in front of the home crowd.
For Hume, last week’s result was all for them at 3-2.
Gideon Sweet took flight with the first two goals before Thomas Harris secured it in the second.
In our most recent encounters with Hume, we’ve collected 1-1 results both home and away.
While a draw isn’t the worst result, it would be better to secure a win before the season ramps up.
