Our Final Series continues this afternoon as we take on South Melbourne at Lakeside Stadium.
Both times we have faced off during the regular season has seen South Melbourne win one of the fixtures 2-0 and the second outing being a 0-0 draw between the two sides.
Gully is coming off an important win in the elimination final against Bentleigh Greens at Green Gully Reserve which saw talisman Alex Salmon and Luc Jeggo both find the back of the net in a great team performance against Bentleigh.
Our opponent South Melbourne finished the season top of the table with the most recent fixture being against Avondale FC in the regular season and a Patrick Langlois goal was the difference as they saw out that game 1-0. South has been in a good run of form winning four out of their last five fixture with their most recent loss coming against Port Melbourne Sharks as they won that fixture 2-1.
This fixture has everything to predict it would be a great hitout with two in form teams and the winner booking a spot in the Victorian National Premier Leagues Grand Final. We hope you get down and support the boys at Lakeside Stadium at 4pm.
