It should be stated that bottom of the table teams are always tough to play as they have everything to gain and nothing to lose. We knew internally if we won we would remain unbeaten for four games, giving us a great base to build as we progress through the season.
In truth, we didn’t play our best football on the night but we won the game and took 3-points so I I was pleased. We also kept a clean sheet which is always a good take away from a match.
The group is starting to hit some form now and the Gully Faithful should be pleased to know we sit 1-point out of the top-6 and remain alive in the Australia Cup.
This Friday we’re home again for our third match in seven days where we’ll take on Heidelberg United. Get down and support us!
