S2022 RD22 MATCH PREVIEW | NPL Men | GREEN GULLY SC V ST ALBANS SAINTS

This Friday night in round 22 of Victorian National Premier Leagues your Green Gully Cavaliers are hosting the St Albans Saints with kick-off at 8pm.

Last week’s Indigenous Round and Western Derby against Melbourne Knights ended up being postponed due to weather conditions.

Our opponent St Albans are currently placed eleventh are joint on goal difference with ninth-placed Melbourne Knights on 23 points. Last week’s outing saw St Albans lose 1-0 to Hume City with their recent form in their last five fixtures has seen them with three draws and two losses.

The last hit out between us in round 9 saw it end in a 1-1 draw with Josh Hope being the goal scorer on the afternoon. Green Gully have most recently taken points in a 0-0 draw against league leaders South Melbourne but have only won out of their last five fixtures and have drawn twice.

As the season is close approaching the end, we are sure it will be a great hit-out. We hope to see you all there at 8pm.
