Green Gully missed out at George Andrews Reserve on Saturday as we lost to Dandenong Thunder 1-0.
Despite some good attacking display, neither side has been able to find the back of the net, leaving the scoreline goalless in the opening 45’ and required a big second half from Green Gully in order to get something out of this game.
Going into the second half Gully was putting on the pressure creating numerous chances but ultimately could not find the back of the net. Despite the multiple efforts Dandenong Thunder was awarded a penalty in the 68’ minute in which they converted to see out the game 1-0
Gully now turns their focus towards next Sunday as we face Heidelberg United at Green Gully Reserve.
