Green Gully continued on a recent run of form against Dandenong Thunder as we won 4-0.
In the 6’ minute Gully opened the scoring through Greg Siamoa who found himself on the end of a Thunder backpass and with a composed finish put us ahead early in this fixture. Greg then made it two as he chased down a long ball and then hit the half volley from the edge of the area to put us two ahead in the 22’ minute.
In the 76’ minute Joel Brandt found himself in the perfect position after the Thunder keeper parried the ball out and placed the ball into the back of the net to extend our lead. In the 84’ minute Gully pressed well as a collective, which allowed for Elioan Kifle to gain possession and with some good footwork find the back of the net and secure all three points for Gully.
Gully now looks to continue Next Sunday as we face Heidelberg United at Green Gully Reserve.
