S2026 | KUR KUR SIGNING

Green Gully is delighted to welcome Kur Kur to the club for the 2026 NPL Victoria campaign.

The livewire winger arrived in Adelaide as a refugee at the age of two, and played his junior football with Modbury Vista and Croydon Kings.

He turned heads with his electric displays for Adelaide City, receiving a call-up to the South Sudan national team and securing a move to Serbia with FK Novi Pazar, before returning to Australia to sign for Brisbane Roar.

Kur joins the Cavaliers from reigning premiers Avondale, where he played for the last two seasons, making 47 appearances and scoring 14 goals.

For Kur, Green Gully was the perfect fit.

“Me and Chicky had a conversation after what happened at Avondale and we discussed how I’m going to play in this team, how I’m going to fit in,” he says.

“And his philosophy really sold me. And the way he wants to play, I feel like I’ll fit in perfectly for the team.

“I feel like that’s what gravitated me towards the club. The way they play football is what I like.”

Kur Kur joins Michael Weier, Lucas Simao, Taofiq Olomowewe and Tom Woerndl as new acquisitions ahead of the 2026 NPL Victoria season – with more exciting additions still to come.
