Green Gully is delighted to confirm the signing of Swedish midfielder Oskar Karlsson for the 2026 NPL Victoria season.
Karlsson joins the Cavaliers after a strong campaign with Hume City under current Gully head coach David Chick, where he played a key role in the club’s run to finals football and an Australia Cup quarter-final appearance.
A composed and hardworking midfielder, Karlsson adds balance and reliability through the middle of the park, bringing familiarity with Chick’s expectations and system.
The 26-year-old has also spent time with Swedish club Gefle IF, making appearances across both senior and youth levels before returning to Australia to continue his career in NPL Victoria.
Karlsson’s arrival adds further depth and continuity to Gully’s midfield group as preparations continue for the 2026 campaign.
Oskar Karlsson joins Michael Weier, Lucas Simao, Taofiq Olomowewe, Tom Woerndl, Kur Kur, Yusuf Ahmed and Bilal Habib as new acquisitions ahead of the 2026 NPL Victoria season, with more announcements still to come.
