Our Under 21s are finally back on the winner’s list!
Over the weekend we came across a fierce Dandenong Thunder side that caused all sorts of trouble in the first 10-15mins.
The highlight of the first half was the performance of our returning goalkeeper Tomas Josifovski who made some key saves and kept our defensive line in check to keep us in the game.
After 30 or so minutes, the boys kicked into gear and started playing some good football, really testing the Dandenong keeper.
In the 43rd min it was Zoran Sljivic who put us 1-0 up after some scrambling in the box from a wide free kick.
In the second half it was all Gully, we stayed solid defensively and moved the ball well to see out the game 1-0 winners.
