Today’s Under 21’s clash is set to be a big one.
After dropping a game against Oakleigh Cannons the boys now have a chance to take back top spot against the team who currently holds it.
Like us, South Melbourne boasts five wins so far. But unlike us, they still remain undefeated.
Against Dandenong Thunder they missed out on the three points. Somehow, despite kicking four goals, the game ended in a draw. In the games prior they kicked three against Altona Magic and two against Port Melbourne.
They boast a high output like us, so Saturday could very well be a goal fest.
Zoran Sljivic, Jack Cotsanis and Brandon Josevski all kicked goals against Magic, with Zoran securing his spot for the week as the league’s leading goal kicker.
Yianni Panakos currently leads South Melbourne for goals with four.
