Saturday at 2:30pm our under 21’s are travelling to Dandenong City.
Last week a youth strutted Gully hosted Port Melbourne which saw a great display of end to end football with the results being tied at halftime and both teams pushing for the late winner, it was the Sharks that took all three points seeing the game out 3-2.
Our opponent Dandenong have won 2 out of their last 5 games and last week fell short to Hume City 4-0. Dandenong City currently sitting 13th on the table just three points in front of Gully would be looking at pushing forward up the table.
Green Gully currently placed 14th just behind Dandenong have been looking positive over the last couple of weeks, playing excellent football just unable to obtain three points. These performances have earned senior call-ups in the league and Australia Cup in the past week from Nick Giarrizzo, Stefan Stojcevski and Justin Spiteri.
With both sides looking to push up the table, we are sure it will be a great hit-out. We hope to see you all there at 2:30pm.
