Sunday at 1pm our under 21’s are travelling to Olympic Park as they kick us off before the senior fixture.
The 21’s fell short last Saturday as second-placed Hume City won the fixture 2-0 in what was a tight matchup. With Gully being placed fourteenth and with six points being between them and tenth position on the table in the final stretch of this season.
Our opponent Heidelberg are currently placed twelfth six points ahead of Green Gully and coming into this Sundays fixture the Warriors coming off a 2-0 victory against Dandenong Thunder and with the gap between these two being so slim with limited games left it’s going to be an interesting one.
The last time these two sides faced it saw Heidelberg win in what was a nine-goal thriller as they won 5-4.
With both sides looking to move up the table, we are sure it will be a great hit-out. We hope to see you all there at 1pm.
