Last Friday we took on Port Melbourne at JL Murphy Reserve.
We got off to a slow start for the first five minutes but the group quickly realised that they needed to step it up. First half was not very fluid from either side.
Once we went 1-0 down I feel we lost a little drive for a short while. After that the boys really stepped it up and created some good chances which we know we should be converting.
With us chasing the game at 1-0 we got caught on the break and went down 2-0. We know as a whole we can play better but we can also work harder and I have no doubt the boys will do that Friday and put us back on winning ways.
This week we take on Dandenong City at home. Come down and support the boys.
