Last Saturday our 21’s made the trip down to Bentleigh to play a quality opposition.
With the boys looking to bounce back from the week before, they started well defensively and looked positive overall, but in the 27th minute a lapse of concentration led to a Bentleigh goal, putting us down at the break.
Conceding late in the second half didn’t stop the boys from continuing to press for a goal.
Stefan Stojcevski scored in the 88th minute to make the scores 2-1 giving the boys a last gasp effort to push for a result. In one of the last kicks of the game it was Stefan again with a brace to even up the scores and take home a valuable point from a top side.
A solid effort right to the end which showed great character and passion from the boys.
