Last Friday our Senior Men fell 0-2 at home against Hume City.
Despite showing some promising periods throughout, we were majorly disadvantaged without five of our integral starters.
However, there were positives to take from the game.
Hume usually outplay their opponents with the ball but it wasn’t the case Friday, as we nullified their movement with countless possessions.
The silver lining of our injured list was the opportunity to get minutes into our younger players; three of which started as teenagers..
Undoubtedly, there are real positive signs so far, but the name of the game is the three points and Hume were deserving of all three.
It’s only a matter of time before we get our season off and running.
Mark our words.
Get down and support the boys this Friday when we take on Avondale FC at home.
