[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Last Sunday our Senior Men opened the season in superb fashion, picking up a 2-0 victory over St Albans Saints FC after a long hiatus away from the game.
Teeboy Kamara and Daniel Jones allowed us two goals, scoring in the first and second half respectively.
Our Seniors will kick off at home this Friday night for the first time in almost a year against Hume City FC.
Our last encounter with Hume did not fall our way, conceding 2-0 in what was a difficult start to our 2020 season.
Looking forward to Friday we’re quite pleased with how we’ve opened Round 1 in contrast to Hume’s 0-0 finish against Altona Magic at home.
Our team has Mamadi Kamara and Shaun Timmins returning from injury, as well as new signings Matt Crooks, Melvin Becket, Mitch Graham, Anthony Poljak, Luc Jeggo and David Thomson (GK).
Our club will also be hosting the Optus Sport production crew as they document the Green Gully SC community. They will be accompanied by live music from the Maltese Own Band Philharmonic Society and Maltese cuisine from our local vendors.
It is set to be a BIG event. Spread the word!
