PREVIEW | R2: Under 21’s V Hume City

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

This Saturday our Under 21’s will look to follow up last Sunday’s victory when they face Hume City FC at Green Gully Reserve.

Last year, our Under 21’s opened the year in top form, collecting two sizeable victories and a 2-2 tie in the first three rounds, including a strong 2-3 showing against this week’s opponents, Hume.

By the end of Round 3, they led the league in goal difference and were making it clear what they wanted to be known for.

Hume presented well in their Round 1 match against Altona Magic, defeating their visitors 3-1.

Comparatively, our Under 21’s defeated St Albans Saints on the road, 2-0. Stefan Stojcevski and Aidan Lane were pivotal on goals, putting a large exclamation mark on a solid team performance.

The boys were clearly hungry from the outset last Sunday, attacking the ball with great control and precision all throughout the game.

They’ll be looking to take that same energy into Saturday’s clash and deliver the Gully fans their first home victory when we take on Hume City at 3pm.

We hope to see you there!
