This Friday night your Green Gully Cavaliers are at home as we play Oakleigh Cannons in our Round 14 clash of NPL Victoria.
In our last fixture, Gully played St Albans which saw the opposition take an early lead with a goal and they managed to hold on to their lead for the remainder of the game and win 1-0.
Our opponent for this week is Oakleigh Cannons who we last played in Round 1 which saw us lose the fixture 3-1 with Luc Jeggo finding the back of the net. Last round Oakleigh played Moreland City which saw the Cannons win 3-0. Oakleigh currently sit in 3rd position on the table with 29 points.
Our 21’s face Oakleigh Cannons this Saturday in our Round 13 clash of NPL Victoria.
Last weekend Gully faced off against St Albans Saints, Gully took an early lead in the 2nd minute through Brodie Sposato. However, St Albans managed to equalize in the 28th minute, making it a tie game at halftime. In the second half, Green Gully once again scored early, this time through Elioan Kifle. After that, Green Gully displayed discipline in the rest of the second half and held on to their lead, securing a victory and three points.
Our 21’s face off against Oakleigh Cannons this week with the last time we faced off was in Round 1 which saw our opposition win that fixture 2-0. Last Round Oakleigh played Moreland City which saw the Cannons win 4-0. Oakleigh is currently in 4th position on 25 points.
