This Friday we are back at Green Gully Reserve as we take on Melbourne Knights in our Round 23 clash of NPL Victoria.
In our last fixture against, Hume City, It wasn’t until the 70th minute that Gully managed to break the deadlock. Gianluca Iannucci delivered a cross into the box, which was met by James Doyle’s header at the back post, putting our team in the lead during the latter part of the second half. This goal turned out to be crucial as Gully maintained their advantage until the end of the game, securing a victory and earning three points.
Our opponent for this week is Melbourne Knights who last round faced Moreland City in which Knights won as the game ended 2-1. Knights currently sit in 4th position in NPL Victoria.
Our 21’s face Melbourne Knights this Saturday in our Round 23 clash of NPL Victoria.
Last weekend Gully faced off against Hume City. We take these fixtures as a learning curve as something we put behind us as we turn our focus to the coming weeks.
