Green Gully’s 21’s made it back to back wins as we saw out the fixture against Moreland City 4-2.
Gully opened the scoring in the 2’ minute as Elioan Kifle played a great pass to find Ilce Petrevski who beat the goalkeeper one on one and placed the ball into an open net. It was the same combination yet again as Elioan found Ilce with another great finish to put us two ahead. In quick response Moreland found a goal through Evan Panagopoulos. Gully then restored their lead as Ilce Petrevski had a deflected shot on target just before half time.
Moreland then got back into the game in the 72’ minute as a cross into the area took a big deflection into the back of the net. In the 88th minute Samuel De Los Santos Myles chased down a loose ball and found Brodie Sposato to give Gully all three points.
We now look towards Saturday as we host Hume City at Green Gully Reserve.
